Imagine If…

Crazy things happen when you believe, work, and manage to align intent amongst the chaos of the world. Like getting a call from a recruiter at Disney Imagineering that kicks off a year long process and testing ground that culminates in getting your dream job… only to have the role cancelled in a corporate restructure before you even managed to start. But I’m not the type to take that and say, “I’m finished.” I love the Disney ethos, corporate behemoth that it is (and despite whatever that meant for me) because no matter what its selling the product is always belief, and leaving feeling better than you did before you engaged it. That should be the goal of all brands, campaigns and story, and knowing I was ahem, *technically* good enough to be a Story Editor for the best Imaginations in the business hopefully says enough about how I can write yours too; I’d love to, with equal ingenuity and enthusiasm.

Below you’ll find some slides from my packet and a page from one of the writing tests. Despite the outcome, it was a thrilling, invigorating and affirming experience — and hey, I’m not one to say the story’s ever over either.
