I Am…
The type of guy who’d publish a professional website for himself and choose Rappin’ Mikey as the background image (but also got to work in the TMNT offices). A creative who refuses to lose his joy, and aims to put it into everything he does (which is why I’ve gotten to live some dreams). An open heart always looking for inspiration and feeding imagination. A forever goof who ultimately loves to get real and to the core of a person, an audience, a project — to understand, connect to, and amplify their most vital essence.
An erudite polymath who also just eye-rolled at using those words. But multifaceted awareness, paired with deep knowledge and passion are everything for elevating message and communicating story. And story is why I everything. The right ad will make you cry, as much as the end of your favorite movie, a winning candidate, or a long belated championship in Cleveland. I’m here for all of it, fluent in all of it, and am fortunate to have worked in all of it now too.
From Film Development to TV Writers Rooms, brand to the Biden Presidential Campaign, LeBron James to Godzilla— I’ve gotten to swing and deliver with some big ones, while never losing appreciation for or dedication to the work and craft. I may have been born with a brain for words and spirit for connection, but I’m always looking for new ways to develop the plot and keep inspiration in stock toowhether that’s new technologies and platforms, or the oldest art and architecture. It’s how I’m built, and how to build better creative. Solving the puzzle of a project requires all the pieces:
Honesty, empathy, vision, humility and conviction in balance — because honest collaboration means great, effective work — and any great, effective work must have truth, vision and heart in balance. Above everything, belief. So if you’re here to see what I’m about, I’m here to work with you - and can’t wait for that story to be told.
